Dear Reader,

Your brain has a huge appetite for choline.

It’s the primary building block for acetylcholine, your brain’s key neurotransmitter. Your brain uses it to maintain clear communication between trillions of neurons.

You need it for all the basics like thought, memory, focus, attention, and sleep. It even controls how you move. Your muscles receive commands from your brain via acetylcholine.

But like many nutrients, your supply of choline drops as you get older.

And a lack of choline puts you on the fast track to mental decline, like:

  • Poor recall and memory loss.
  • Fatigue and/or lack of energy.
  • Brain fog and/or a sense of confusion.
  • Inability to catch on, or learn new things.
  • Feeling distracted or irritable.
  • Walking with a wobbly or shaky gait, unable to stay balanced.

What’s more, choline is completely off the radar of mainstream medicine.

When I started prescribing it to my patients years ago, no one knew anything about it. And yet, I was seeing amazing results. Everyone over the age of 45 was experiencing more energy, alertness, faster recall, and a more stable memory.

It wasn’t until 1998 that the Institute of Medicine, part of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, deemed choline an essential nutrient.

Finally, other researchers are starting to wake up and speak out.

Just a few weeks ago, Dr. Steven Zeisel, head of the nutrition department at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, warned about a serious nationwide deficiency in a vital, vitamin B-like compound that’s threatening the quality of YOUR life.

I can tell you from decades of experience, choline is vital for mental energy and clarity.

And there are two other nutrients that MULTIPLY the power of choline, and today I’ll show you what they are and how to get them.

It’s About Time: Nutrition Experts Finally Alert
Public About Choline Deficiency

Dr. Zeisel warned that the scale of the choline deficiency is so great, it’s a public health concern.

His dispatch noted: "Choline is the nutrient that we never knew humans needed until 1998. One of the important functions of choline is to help your brain work… Dietary surveys show that almost no adults get enough…"

That’s why I’ve written to you about choline in the past.

But there are other brain boosters that give choline a HUGE lift.

Let me show you what I mean.

An Energy Gift from the "Gods"

The second brain booster I like to combine with choline is guaranine extract.

Guaranine is a caffeine-loaded berry and comes from a seed called Paullinia cupana.

But unlike regular caffeine, it’s full of healthy fatty acids.

The good fat gives guaranine a slow release. Its effect will gradually increase over a period of hours. It doesn’t pick you up and throw you down like the quick-release caffeine in coffee. There’s no crash with this stuff… and you don’t get any nervous, jittery energy.

I was first introduced to guaranine while trekking through the Amazon rainforest. My Brazilian guide told me that according to local tribes, it was a "gift from the gods."

According to the folklore of the Guarani tribe, the first bush sprouted on a bend on the Amazon River, at the spot where two lovers from rival Indian tribes had been struck by lightning.

"This is a much better energy-booster than coffee," he assured me. "And Brazil is known for its great coffee!"

Then he handed me his canteen. "Try it yourself," he said.

After 18 hours of trekking through the jungle, my mind was crystal clear and I felt no fatigue. Looking back, I had covered 15 miles of rugged terrain without feeling tired or worn out.

Back home, I began working on my formula. I could have stopped with choline and guaranine, which were enough to repair, protect and energize your aging brain.

But based on my own research, and experience in my own garden at home, I knew there was one more "must have" nutrient that would light up the combination of choline and guaranine.

The Brain Booster of Kings and Queens

Melissa officinalis is a long-overlooked plant known for its remarkable healing and regenerative effects on the human brain.

In the 16th century, the English botanist and herbalist, John Gerard, gave it to his students to "quicken the senses" – perhaps the first recorded use of the herb as brain therapy.

And according to Sir John Sinclair, the 18th century author of The Code of Health and Longevity, Englishman John Hussey took Melissa officinalis each morning for the last 50 years of his life. And Mr. Hussey remained active and mentally sharp until passing on at the ripe old age of 116!

For centuries, Melissa officinalis has also been a secret source of energy for European royal families.

They enjoyed it – and continue to do so – as a traditional brain-boosting elixir that gives them the mental agility and stamina to stay on top of their punishingly busy schedules.

What’s more, they have always been able to keep up this breakneck pace into old age.

Ancient records tell us that kings and queens across Europe have been using it for more than 1,000 years…

  • Charlemagne, King of the Franks, was so impressed by this herb that he made a law so he would have ready access to it.
  • King Charles V of France drank a tea made from this herb every day, giving him the boost he needed to expand his kingdom, and begin building the Louvre as we know it today. Thanks to this herb, he earned himself the nickname le Sage – or the Wise.
  • Shakespeare writes of it in his plays King Richard II, King Henry IV and King Lear as an herb used for anointing kings, but also to soothe their sorrows and grief.
  • This incredible herb also has its place in the Royal Apothecary of Queen Elizabeth II.

A Humble Plant with Amazing Brain Power

Neither Sir John nor Mr. Hussey knew why it worked. But today we know Melissa officinalis contains two potent compounds for brain health: eugenol and rosmarinic acid.

Both are dynamos, but together they create a synergistic effect that stimulates and sustains the power of your brain… at any age.

Eugenol increases levels of the body’s most powerful antioxidants, glutathione and superoxide dismutase.1,2

Its antioxidant activity is five times more powerful than vitamin E’s powerful antioxidant, alpha-tocopherol.

And it doesn’t wait for free radicals to attack brain cells and their DNA. It neutralizes them before they can attack.

Meanwhile, rosmarinic acid protects the brain’s white matter transmitter cells and protects against neuron death – even when deprived of oxygen during a stroke.3

But the impact of rosmarinic acid on memory is perhaps most startling.

Memory loss often occurs when the brain lacks enough acetylcholine. When the brain sends signals, it needs acetylcholine to keep the signals moving.

But once used, the brain removes acetylcholine with an enzyme called acetylcholinesterase. Individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and dementia often have too much acetylcholinesterase, which restricts the brain signals from moving.

Melissa officinalis – via its rosmarinic acid component – encourages blood flow, which helps to protect brain cells from dying.

Both rosmarinic acid and eugenol protect the physical structure and blood flow in the brain, as well as encouraging brain-cell renewal, high-level thinking, concentration and powers of recall.

A study published in Nutrients supports my own observations at my wellness clinic.

Those who took Melissa officinalis in this study:

  • Enjoyed alertness that continued to improve the more time passed.
  • Experienced a significant improvement in focus and concentration within the first hour… but focus and concentration were even sharper at three hours!
  • Improved recall, thinking and information processing throughout the study.4

And no side effects were reported.

Melissa officinalis stimulates brain "energy" like coffee – but rather than use up energy, it encourages the creation of more!

Activate Your Own "Genius Mind"

My unique blend of guaranine, choline and Melissa officinalis is like rocket fuel for your brain.

Not only does it give you a better boost than your morning cup of coffee, it gives you the clarity of a mental giant and the memory of genius.

And you can find all three of them together in a formula I call Recharge.

You’ll notice the lift right away. If you do crosswords, you’ll finish them in a fraction of the time. Things like organization, recall and comprehension just fall into place.

When you read something, you "get it." When someone is explaining something, you understand what they’re getting at before they even get to the point. You move into a feeling of extreme alertness. You’re aware of everything and it’s all so clear.

The processing speed of your brain gets a triple-turbo boost. It’s like stepping up to one of those super-computers NASA uses for space flight.

One of the experiences I appreciate is the "alert but calm" feeling. Your focus becomes almost laser-like. And it lasts all day. It’s not short-lived like coffee or other caffeine drinks.

All the individual components of my formula are backed up by clinical studies. And now you can feel the startling results for yourself.

Here’s Another Mental Boost: Confidence

You may be surprised to hear that my Recharge formula does so much. But once you feel the results for yourself, you’ll understand.

Many of my patients have sampled it, of course. And they tell me they feel more confident about the future. Instead of sitting around the house worrying about what might happen, they feel like they’re back in the driver’s seat. That’s what happens when you have real options.

Knowledge is power. But I wouldn’t be surprised if sometimes you feel like you’re being kept in the dark. Many doctors make their patients feel like children or fools. I’ve always believed real medicine is about empowerment. Not secrecy.

And of course I use the formula myself. I was the first test subject. And the results were startling.

I’ve enjoyed this astonishing new elixir while climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro… ascending the Andes… trekking across the Kalahari… hiking over the hills of Bali… and while beating paths through some of the most remote regions of the world in search of natural, life-sustaining medicines.

Andsince I’ve been using my new Recharge formula, I haven’t touched a cup of coffee. With this blend of super nutrients, you have the power to keep your mind clear and strong as you age. Recharge keeps your brain young and well fed.
